When I started learning about Phoenix, I did what most developers would do … I went looking for the documentation on how to code against the existing code base. What I came to learn was that there was very little being offered in this area, so you have to ask on the forums (Private Group) or you have to figure it out on your own. I was told that if you are a decent programmer, you shouldn’t need documentation…. that is why I am writing some of my own … to help anyone who would like to code in Phoenix without having to play the guessing game or flooding the forums with the same questions that have been asked many times.
Don’t get me wrong, the crew over at the Phoenix Club Forum are great as there wouldn’t be a CE Phoenix without them. I strongly suggest that if you are a user of Phoenix, you should support them and Go Pro. I am not a Pro Supporter only because I like coding and my contribution to the group is the information and I don’t have an online store that uses Phoenix, I am just doing this for fun (COVID-19 gave me some extra time).
